Your part in Buderim Private Hospital

  • You'll be responsible for the effective leadership and coordination of Theatre Orderly staff, to ensure an efficient service is provided to our Theatres and Procedural Services areas. Whilst on duty, you'll coordinate activities whilst actively participating and assistant with standard Orderly tasks. You'll work collaboratively with the Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical team members in your departments, supporting a collegial environment that puts patient safety and quality of care at the centre of everything you do.
  • Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager for Theatres, your duties will include:
  • Management of all orderly activity, including rostering, recruitment, appraisals and performance discussions
  • Reporting and Recording of equipment data as required
  • Performing competency assessment and training for all orderlies
  • Managing complaints and incidents in conjunction with your Manager
