The Job:


As the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating audit activities while leading a team of junior and intermediate staff.

This role involves devising audit strategies, evaluating financial statements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and clients, facilitating clear communication, offering technical guidance, and overseeing the execution of audit engagements.

  • Lead and supervise audit engagements, reviewing financial statements and relevant documentation.
  • Mentor and guide junior and intermediate staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate with clients to gain insights into their financial needs and provide expert advice.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with internal teams to ensure streamlined audit processes.
  • Analyse audit results and offer actionable recommendations to enhance financial systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform audit strategies.

Job Requirements:


  • Current residence in Melbourne
  • 47 years of relevant experience in audit, including team management responsibilities.
  • CA qualification.
  • Strong technical skills in auditing and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and client interactions.
  • Demonstrated track record of adhering to industry regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools used for auditing purposes.
