You will be responsible for Managing technical services through their entire lifecycle.

This includes managing the Service Strategy, Governance, Risk and Controls to ensure the Technical Services meet the needs of customers, regulatory bodies, internal policy and the organisation's risk settings.


You will make a difference by:

  • Representation of the assigned Technical Services across the organisation and engagement with key stakeholders
  • Reviewing and shaping solutions to ensure they meet the needs of our organisations, customers, policy and regulations. (In collaboration with Solution Designers & Architects)
  • Owning & directing technology risk remediation, mitigation and acceptance (via RMF submission)
  • Designing and implementing strong governance and vendor & supplier management practices, and technology opportunity initiation
  • Ensuring new solutions are:
  • Fitforpurpose and align to the current strategy
  • Contribute (and do not weaken) our control effectiveness
  • Follow risk management/acceptance processes of the organisation
  • Compliant with respect to internal/external policy and the risk settings of the organisation
  • Preparing Reports and metrics of service performance/compliance against SLA/agreed metrics
  • Managing ATLAS items for aligned portfolio

A little bit about you

  • 10 years of relevant experience within the Technology space with exposure to the System Development Life Cycle, Risk Management, System Design, Service Management
  • Tertiary education in Technology or related discipline
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Strong understanding of risk and control management
  • Technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts. Experience in technology strategy formulation and execution with aligned outcomes
  • Experience managing both agile Project Delivery and Service Management functions
  • Strong Commercial experience in working with software vendors and suppliers, and Business Case acumen and a strong sense of accountability
  • AWS Cloud exposure from a Service perspective
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
