REPORTS TO Head of Raymond House (Years 2 to 6)

PURPOSE To provide professional reception and office services that promote a positive image of the School

ENVIRONMENT This is a fixed term full time term time only position commencing 27 May 2024. The span of hours will be 8.00am

to 4.06pm school terms.

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Reception Duties

  • Answer all incoming calls in a timely manner
  • Accurately record and deliver all messages efficiently
  • Provide personalised and friendly customer service to all visitors
Administration tasks

  • Enter school student attendance records and contact parents/caregivers to follow up any
unexplained student absences

  • Maintain accurate staff and student lists for Raymond House Emergency Evacuation
procedures

  • Assist with the preparation for Raymond House events, including assisting on the day if
required

  • Assist with the School's database management and data entry
  • Maintain and enter Consent2Go records for Raymond House
  • Create excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint presentations as required
  • Assist with any work overflow from the Personal Assistant to Head of Raymond House
  • Manage Raymond House office files
  • Order stationery for Raymond House
  • Manage the distribution of correspondence to classrooms
  • Provide backup for the Health Centre
  • Assist the Parents and Friend association with the organisation and delivery of events
  • Ensure that the diversity of all children, including (but not limited to) the needs of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and linguistically
diverse backgrounds, children with disabilities, and children who are vulnerable needs
are met

  • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Other duties as directed by the Head of Raymond House

  • A current and appropriate WWC registration
  • An understanding of child safe standards
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate with a commitment to ongoing training
  • Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Record Check upon appointment
  • Current anaphylaxis management qualification
  • Current asthma management qualification
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Proficiency in the creation and use of Google documents
  • Experience creating spreadsheets and Power Point presentation
