About the role
Our client is one of Australia's leading Pathology and Medical diagnostic service providers.

They are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Business Manager to manage their pathology business, looking after the south of Sydney and NSW.

This will include regional and metro sites and satellite laboratories.


About the Role

In your role as Business Manager, you will report to General Manager, and work closely with another Business Manager, with a total of 700 people in the business unit you will have 5 direct reports.

You will need to have a hands-on approach and be comfortable leading leaders while developing their capabilities.


Duties & responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining NATA accreditation
  • Implementing management training
  • Managing the commercials including P&L
  • Managing the service delivery and ensuring the right resources are in place

About you
To be considered for this role your skills and attributes should include:

  • Bachelor of Medical Science or similar
  • Experience working in a pathology laboratory
  • Experience developing management
  • Good commercial acumen and knowledge
  • Understanding of NATA accreditation
