Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Paste or Service Crew role
  • Substantial knowledge of underground practices
  • Experienced operating Underground machinery such as integrated tool carrier and light vehicle
  • Construction of ventilation/paste walls and underground infrastructure
  • Air leg operation
  • Hand installation and grouting of cable bolts
  • Installation and removal of steel paste pipes
  • Assisting other underground roles as required
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of air and water and ventilation services
  • All valid and relevant qualifications, licences and certificates (RPL's)
  • Valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence
  • Current National Police Clearance (valid within six months)
  • A strong focus on safety and hazard identification
