Our large NSW State Government client provides a diverse range of essential services to reduce criminal activity and enhance protection of the community.


About the Role
They are currently seeking an experienced Client Service Officer to join their team in Parramatta. Hybrid working conditions can be negotiated after training period. This is an estimated 3month temporary assignment, with a very strong potential to extend.


As a Client Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality, consistent and timely Estate Planning & Administration services.

In this role, you will be responsible for however not limited to the following

  • Manage a busy caseload of roughly 4050 Deceased Estates
  • Deliver professional and empathetic customer service to clients and beneficiaries
  • Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
  • Facilitate the resolution of complaints and issues
  • Capture, process and lodge personal information into the system
  • Investigate, gather and collate information to support decision making outcomes
  • Collect and apportion assets
  • Processing payment of claims
  • Issuing closing statements of receipts and disbursements
  • Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

About You
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following

  • Demonstrated Client Services, Legal, Financial or Case Management experience
  • Previous experience within a complex/sensitive environment
  • Professional, resilient and empathetic interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask competing deadlines/timeframes.
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
