About the role

This Facility Manager role will provide an integrated support service to West Moreton Health to coordinate the Sustainability, Infrastructure and Assets (SIA) functions at the Ripley Satellite Hospital Facility and occupancy planning and decanting of other West Moreton Health facilities as required.

This includes SIA helpdesk (planned and reactive maintenance, capital asset and renewal requests, emergency management support), infrastructure and assets support, fleet and security services administration, site access control and key management, contractor inductions, contractor and maintenance sign in, Notice of Impacting Activity (NIA) administration, general evacuation instruction (GEI), emergency management site and response, fire alarms, environmental sustainability initiatives
This role will be the nominated Chief Warden for the Ripley site.
About you

  • Proven excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external clients while working autonomously, prioritising workload, maintaining confidentiality and establishing good work practices focusing on service delivery.
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to work with relevant stakeholders to meet the requirements of the organisation, contracts obligations and the branch to maximise efficiency and work outputs.
  • Proven ability to provide high level administrative support and highlevel systems support in the Microsoft Office Suite, SAP S4 HANA and other relevant systems to maximise efficiency and work outputs.
  • Proven ability to provide solutions to specific situations or issues relating to systems administration, enhancements, etc.
  • Willingness to effectively develop the knowledge and skills of SIA Administration and other staff through demonstration and onthejob coaching and guidance in Sustainability Infrastructure and Assets systems and processes.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, collaboratively and effectively within a team environment by sharing information, openly communicating, managing change, treating others with respect, and including all team members in discussions.

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/1
  • Vaccinated against COVID19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
