To support SLB Production Systems operations in Australasia, we are currently looking for
a Subsea Field Service Specialist.


The Field Service Specialist role is to install, commission, maintain, operate, retrieve and where authorized repair Subsea Products as well as ancillary equipment according to company and client procedures.

Undertake activities in an onshore and /or offshore capacity, as required.


Duties:


  • Direct the installation or servicing task to ensure a safe and efficient operation
  • Investigate and diagnose any deficiency which may impede the efficient installation and act to correct the situation
  • Provide the customers representative with sufficient information and guidance to ensure the correct task completion
  • Assist with training and competence development of personnel as required both onshore and offshore
  • Report faults or areas of improvement which will ensure continued product development
  • Assembly and testing onshore and offshore, (including recording of test results)
  • Complete Service reports, FPR's, EWR, EOWR, and other administrative duties associated with the department or project
  • General duties associated with the Service task and engineering task
  • Verify and Prepare Resources at Product Line Location
  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Responsible for service delivery execution.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  • Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  • Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.
  • Assist training and competency development of personnel
  • Other assigned tasks

Requirements:


  • Reside in Australia and have the full right to live and work in Australia including offshore
  • No travel restrictions and open to relocation in Australia based on company's requirement
  • 23 years Technical TAFE Diploma Certificate in mechanical/hydraulic and/or electrical is desirable
  • Min 4 years relevant experience in operational field service background with proven oil industry experience advantageous
  • Experience working with subsea equipment such as Wellheads, Christmas Trees and Control Systems
  • Ability to work to deadlines and work independentlyalso with team
  • Competent computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization
  • Competencies: Well Control Level
  • Well Intervention Pressure Control, BOP testing, etc

Salary:

The salary will comprise an attractive compensation package (estimate annual earnings between AUD75,000-120,000/year) depending on experience.
