  • Salary commencing at $77,278 per annum plus 10.5% superannuation (commensurate with experience)
  • Provide a high level of support to assist in the delivery of capital works project

    The Opportunity
  • Council have an opportunity to provide a high level of support to assist in the delivery of capital works projects. You will maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders of Projects and support the implementation of new systems and processes that improve the delivery of services by the department.
    Responsibilities
  • Support team members in working with Council departments to facilitate the delivery of projects
  • Provide project administration support including but not limited to taking minutes, meeting coordination, operational support, communication strategies, procurement and Council reports
  • Assist in documenting new or existing processes, procedures or work instructions in order to improve the efficiencies and compliance of services provided by the department
  • Work with Council departments to identify areas where community involvement may benefit the project
  • Lead the delivery of smallscale works that may be required to compliment the delivery of Projects

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in business support or project management
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Capacity to manage workflow priorities, work as part of a team and meet deadlines in an effective manner
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with the full Microsoft Office suite
  • High standards of internal and external customer service and coordination skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
