Position Descriptor:

The role is R-6 NIT HASS, the teacher will be required to use an integrated approach to teaching HASS. Explicit Direct Instruction is used to deliver the curriculum throughout the school and is a desirable skill.

It is an expectation that the teacher will support the schools literacy, numeracy and assessment agreements, and site priorities of literacy, mathematics and wellbeing.

The school community is diverse. Students may present with multiple complexities including
- disabilities and social and emotional issues, the ability to use appropriate SBM strategies is essential. The school has high levels of EALD students therefore the ability to provide a differentiated curriculum is essential. Collaboration with the year level teams and participation in team learning programmes is a requirement of the role
