About The Role

Ventia have been engaged by the
DJCS (Department of Justice and Community Safety) to provide integrated Facility Management services incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams.- The Department has a diverse and complex property portfolio, with this opportunity spanning over 24+ properties ranging from minimum to maximum security correctional facilities, post sentence facilities, youth justice, SESG training centres and community fire refuge centres.

As our scope of works has expanded, we are now seeking a
Facilities Supervisor to supervise delivery of services across a portfolio of sites in the
Little River area and will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of Hard and Soft services that meets the individual site-specific scope requirements and is delivered in a manner that is efficient, compliant, and doesn't introduce risk, or disrupt the site operations.

- Other duties include:

Establish and maintain effective client relationships, provide onsite supervision and direction to the site-based trades team, associated with building long-term sustainable services and growth across the site
Assist with oversight for sitebased FM operations, including all scheduled internal delivered planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, remedial works, and oversight of both hard and soft service contractors to ensure services are delivered to high standards
Supervising the performance and quality of our internal delivery team members and subcontractors through regular performance auditing, work quality inspections, reviews and communication
Acting as an escalation point for technical matters or complex building systems fault finding exercises
Organise resources, material and equipment as necessary to efficiently deliver services
Oversight of all time sheeting for completeness and soundness
Identifying and building a critical spares inventory to support the facilities
Oversight of all company assets including sitebased vehicles ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained and always in a fully functional and wellpresented manner
Assisting with scoping, execution and delivery of individual sitebased CAPEX, Asset Refurbishment-Lifecycle/Project Works and handover documentation across sites as needed
Requirement to be oncall to support the service delivery as required

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working as a Facilities Supervisor working in large complex and time critical environment with a focus on both planned and reactive maintenance

You will also possess:
Strong Stake holder engagement skills
Experience supervising internal delivery teams
Experience with subcontractor management
Have worked in a planned and reactive maintenance environment with time critical KPIs
Have an unrestricted drivers licence
Be able to undertake a National Police check and medical check as required by the contract
Be able to evidence all covid vaccination records.
