The Opportunity


Ramsay Health Care is seeking a WHS Coordinator to effectively support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company safety management system (RamAusSMS) and the promotion of work health and safety across two of our NSW sites.


As a WHS Coordinator, you will facilitate and coordinate the hospitals safety and risk management portfolio in line with corporate and business unit mission and objectives.

You will support the hospital to meet their WHS legislative obligations through implementation of the RamAusSMS.

This position will be permanent part-time, reporting directly to the NSW Safety Manager.


About You

  • Strong technical skillset, with a keen focus on process improvement
  • Proven ability to work across a multilayered organisation, providing advice and education
  • Able to efficiently influence stakeholders and drive quality improvement initiatives

Your Skills and Experience

  • Qualifications in Work Health and Safety
  • Demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation and ability to meet WHS targets
  • Commitment to the achievement of excellent outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability and customer service

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Experience within the health industry or a large organisation
  • Fire Safety Advisor
