The Role

As an APS 5 Project Scheduler in Explosive Ordnance Maintenance Directorate (EOMD) in Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Delivery Division (GWEO-DD), you will be given the unique opportunity to work within a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability.

  • Actively plan, develop, establish, schedule, engage and coordinate a range of products and projects in support of the service delivery of Guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force;
  • Engage with Defence and industry stakeholders in the delivery of key programs of work.

About our Team

EOMD is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB), which is part of the new GWEO-DD, which is part of GWEO Group.

Our team is made up of various disciplines, including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services.


We are located in Canberra, Penrith, Ipswich, RAAF Amberley and Rockingham (HMAS Stirling) and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.

The right person for this role will be an individual who is able to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility required to respond to the needs of their stakeholders in order to meet Defence outcomes.

They will be required to work independently with limited direction, assisting the maintenance teams to meet the required output to achieve targets required by the Department of Defence.
