The company:


Our client are based in the inner Western Suburbs/ CBD fringe, and provide venue management and operational support at events enjoyed by people across Queensland.

You will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest events in Brisbane & Queensland


Note:


This position is primarily based in the Corporate Office at Milton, but a substantial part of the role involves on-site support for venue operations.

Some out-of-hours work (evenings and weekends) will be required as per an on-call roster. Additionally, occasional metropolitan and regional travel with potential multi-night stays is expected.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical support for data networks, key venue systems, computers, office equipment, desktop software, and telephony platforms.
  • Address venue and client technical needs promptly, offering onsite and oncall technical services.
  • Offer insightful advice to management regarding issues related to event systems' installation/use and their impact on venue operations or event delivery.
  • Assist system administrators with support tasks like system account management, asset tracking, device onboarding, and routine troubleshooting and testing.
  • Collaborate to ensure the service desk team meets targets for user onboarding, service monitoring, incident resolution, and service requests.

Your experience:


  • Proficient in troubleshooting ICT issues for Field, Desktop, and Remote Workers, collaborating with team members, clients, external providers, and vendors for effective solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of key technology concepts: desktop operating systems, networking principles, DNS, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory administration, Exchange mailbox management, machine imaging processes, Office 365 Administration, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of engaging stakeholders, assessing impacts, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions in highpressure environments.
