The position is based in the Community Health Centre on the Royal North Shore Hospital Campus


What you'll be doing


The Program Manager - Adult Survivors Program will be responsible for overarching program leadership, strategic management, implementation, governance, business planning, risk and budget management, stakeholder engagement and coordination and overseeing the development of a sustainable local model of care in alignment with statewide requirements of NSW Health's new Adult Survivors Program.


This role will provide advanced leadership and high-quality project management to ensure that the objectives of this innovative new integrated program are met.

This role will not provide direct services to clients.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a healthrelated discipline; and/or significant work experience in violence, abuse and neglect, trauma informed care, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and/or complex project management.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to work autonomously to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
  • Demonstrated advanced level project management skills, including proficiency in software required to prepare complex and clearly communicated plans, implementation support documents and reports, including proficiency in Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel.
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including Ministry of Health, senior management, project team partners, consumers and other key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problemsolving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage complex health and/or community servicerelated projects and change initiatives to achieve planned outcomes, including project planning, financial monitoring and management, and project evaluation and reporting.
  • Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel within the district in accordance with the demands of the position).
