The opportunity


We are seeking a talented
Financial Analyst/Project Cost Controller to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail.

The role can be based in Brisbane or at RAAF Base Amberley, but will require travel between both sites as required.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the month end process with the required journals and reconciliations, including all required reporting.
  • Maintaining project forecasts and assist with preparing variance analysis
  • Participate in budget and forecast reviews one on one with cost account managers and other relevant stakeholders
  • Investigation of cost drivers and areas for improvement
  • Use of project management cost tools

Experience/Qualifications

  • Qualification in accounting or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines
  • Proactive
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
