Position Summary
Stocks, folds, straightens, and arranges clothing, shoes, underwear, and other clothing items. Clears sales floor and aisles of empty pallets and debris. Checks for correct merchandise signs. Assists members in locating sizes. Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and suppliers. Follows proper safety procedures and standards.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

Fold, straighten and arranges clothing in layers on stacked pallets to maintain attractive merchandise presentation
Hang and straighten clothing on racks, straighten shoes, underwear, and other clothing items
Follow merchandising standards and practices
Align merchandise and groups items by colour or size, keep stacks level, and collect and return stray items
Check for correct merchandise signs
Assist in folding and restocking saleable clothing brought by supervisors from the refund area to sales floor
Spot for Forklift Drivers to keep people out of falldanger zone
Clear sales floor of debris
Remove empty pallets from the sales floor and operates cardboard baler and trash compactor
Communicate with Night Supervisor or Duty Manager to report progress and receive direction
Follow established inventory prop guidelines prior to physical inventory
Follow proper Merchandising and general safety procedures and standards
Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers
Assist members in locating sizes
Direct members to other merchandise and relate merchandise

Education/Training:
High School Certificate or higher

Licenses/Certifications:
None

Experience/Skills:
Customer service, or comparable experience, basic math skills
