The Organisation

JK has partnered with a large local steel fabrication supplier in Acacia Ridge offering an opportunity for a sand blaster to join their team with an immediate start.

Our client is a leader within the fabrication and engineering industry.

The Role
Within this role, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of the sandblasting equipment. Removing dirt, paint, and other built-up material from metal surfaces. You will also assist with powder coating or painting duties as required.

This position offers full-time hours Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm - with a 1:00pm finish on Fridays. Overtime is available.

Role Requirements

Experience in a similar role desired but not required (full training provided)
Ability to learn and pick up on new things quickly
Reasonable level of fitness and strength
Strong commitment to health and safety.
