The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process.

The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.


Requirements for the role:


  • Minimum Certificate IV in one of the following:
  • Music Creation and Composition
  • Post Production (Audio)
  • Sound Production
  • Live Production
  • Performance (Music, Stage or Screen)
  • Creative writing (Scripts, Screenplays, Podcasts)
  • Creative Production or Content Creation
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
  • 3+ years post qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
  • Evidence demonstrating current and relevant professional and practical industry experience with link to current showreel and/or portfolio of work.
