We have 2 Part time positions available.

You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Plans' including personal care.


The house profile:

This house is situated in Doncaster and is in close proximity to most general shops, amenities, and public transport.

There are 5 clients in this house, all male requiring support with dual disabilities, autism & Behaviours of concern.

The available roster lines are:


Fortnightly splits: 36:30/32:30 - a mix of morning, & Afternoon shifts - Including 8 Sleep over shifts per month.


Fortnightly splits: 54:30/49:30 - a mix of morning & afternoon shifts ( some split shifts) - Including 9 Sleep over shifts per month.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the daytoday running of the house
  • Develop planned activities in line with policies and guidelines
  • Liaise with family members, medical services, departmental services, and external services to help meet client needs
  • Administer medication treatments and therapies according to prescribed protocols or otherwise, seek appropriate medical assistance
  • Implement development programs and identify and support learning opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Certificate 4 in Disability
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities
  • A handson leader and team player with positive behaviour support experience and leadership capabilities able to actively promote and provide best practice support to clients whilst supervising and mentoring other team members
  • The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is essential
  • Demonstrated compliance with NDIS requirements for Disability Support Workers
