The Opportunity


We have an exciting opportunity for an Payroll Project Specialist to join the team on a 6 month full-time fixed term contract to support the implementation of our global HRIS.


Reporting to the Payroll Transformation Manager, be supporting the Workday Implementation team as we transition to new HCM and Payroll systems, managing activities in a number of potential streams including data testing with a focus on HCM to payroll testing for Australia, US and other locations.


Responsibilities include:

  • Perform testingrelated activities of the payroll systems environment to ensure that system has been configured correctly to reduce noncompliance risk across the systems landscape and is operating in accordance with payroll requirements.
  • Participate in test planning and scoping.
  • Maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts.
  • Understand and follow test execution and acceptance plans
  • Create test summary reports and report in line with defect management practices
  • Work with members of the project including project managers, HR and payroll team members, system integrators, vendors
  • Work closely with Test Lead to complete the testing activities as directed.
  • Participate in regular standups and provide status updates

  • Exceptional experience in Payroll, (SAP / Workday implementation experience highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge within user acceptance testing environments and system performance analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking, with the ability to interpret and synthesize diverse and complex information from multiple sources
  • A commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Good collaboration, communication and teamwork
