About the role
UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance Business are looking for Electrical Fitter to join our mining component overhaul team.
- Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you providing electrical expertise in both field service and our workshop overhauling electrical components for mining equipment.
- This role will be offered on a permanent full time basis on a 9 day fortnight with every second Friday off, hours are Monday
- Thursday 5.30am 2.30pm and the Friday you do work is 5.30am 1.30pm.
About you
- Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency
- Electrical
- Electrical
- Component overhaul experience is beneficial
- Ability to Interpret Engineering Drawings
- Ability to work to a fastpaced production schedule
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Tasks
- Electric Motor maintenance including inspection, cleaning, commutator and brush maintenance
- Disassembly, overhaul and rebuild of electrical components including motors, generators and alternators
- Wash bay operation and cleaning of parts
- Complete quality documentation and reports
- Assisting other trades and workshop planners with variety of tasks
