We currently have an opportunity in Moonee Ponds, VIC for an energetic Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant to join us on a
Part -time basis.



About your role:


As a Lifestyle Assistant you will work in a team environment to help create, implement and further develop our lifestyle programs, but also be able to operate alone at times.

You will support our Lifestyle Coordinator in enabling resident lifestyle choices while catering to individual needs.

You will be on our frontline with our residents - which can be challenging, but is also rewarding when achieving positive outcomes for our residents.

We are committed to our residents and our employees, and encourage our staff to commit to working safely within their teams.


What You'll Do:


  • Assist with professional care practices
  • Provide support for our volunteers
  • Develop and implement new lifestyle options
  • Evaluate current and future lifestyle options

What You'll Bring:


  • Previous experience in implementing lifestyle programs catering to specific needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work across changing work hours
  • A minimum of a Certificate-III in Leisure and Lifestyle
  • Experience with the Montessori philosophy lifestyle program is ideal
  • An engaging personality that contributes to our team
  • Previous experience in the Aged Care Industry
  • Ability to work 4 days a week is essential

Essential Requirements:


  • NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Police check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Proof of Work rights in Australia
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose)
  • Proof of Flu vaccination (current year)
