The roleBased in Fortitude Valley we are currently seeking an Application/Technology Officer to focus primarily on ensuring the development and maintenance of enterprise systems by providing customer focused and high-level specialist advice and support.
In this role you will provide high level technical expertise, support and administration by maintaining the operational environment and defined enterprise service levels.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, dedicated, will contribute to our positive and participatory team culture, and who can manage competing priorities and achieve results.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes, as well as being able to demonstrate your technical ability in one or more of the following:
- Database management and administration
- Unix/Solaris/RedHat System Administration and shell scripting
- Managing and administering Patient Administration Systems
- SQL and Query languages
- Programming languages
- Previous experience working with one of the below would be highly regarded:
- NoSQL and RDBMS
- Application development
- Knowledge of source control (GIT or SVN)
- Agile or Waterfall structures
You will be experienced at building, documenting and implementing technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks and prepare technical reports, specification and trend analysis.
