We are currently looking for an
Associate Director with a passion for Asset Management across large infrastructure projects.

We are looking for someone with a great technical skill set but equally strong client management, also someone who we could mentor to become an industry leader.


Job Description:


We are recruiting a Associate Director (Managing Consultant) to help us continue our growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients.

Your role includes planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating the engineering and technical operations for our client organisation's infrastructure and fleet operations.


The key role requirements are:

  • Use your knowledge and experience to consult with clients in finding solutions to challenges within the rail sector's major projects and operations

This may include:

  • Determining, implementing and monitoring engineering strategies, policies and plans;
  • Interpreting plans, drawings and specifications and providing advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction and production requirements;
  • Establishing project schedules and budgets;
  • Ensuring conformity with specifications and plans and with laws, regulations and safety standards;
  • Ensuring engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness and performance are observed;
  • Overseeing maintenance requirements to optimise efficiency;
  • Liaising with marketing, research and manufacturing managers regarding engineering aspects of new construction and product design, and
  • Contribute to research and development projects.
  • Build client base and pipeline within the rail sector.
  • Build capability of local team to deliver for the rail sector.
  • Interface with AMCL's rail sector experts across our global teams.
  • Build AMCL's reputation for rail sector expertise within the APAC market.

Qualifications:


  • A successful track record of providing advisory consulting within rail infrastructure businesses.
  • Degree Qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience working with assetintensive organisations.
  • Experience in networking, busniess development and team building.
  • Experience such that you can operate effectively within a consulting business.
  • General management function within the sector advisory practice.
  • Demonstrable commitment to and skills for developing the performance of colleagues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, business networking and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment specific to rail operators.
  • Takes personal responsibility for work and colleagues' work, ensuring it is always of a high standard.
  • Willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload to deliver highquality outputs, agreed milestones and deadlines.
