About the role:


Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator who will work closely with the Legal Help Manager and Family Violence program to lead the design, launch and assessment of a new VLA Webchat Legal Advice Pilot.

This service will expand upon the existing webchat to provide legal advice to people using or experiencing family violence.


You will work closely with stakeholders and service partners to lead the Webchat Legal Advice Pilot service to better meet help seekers' needs.

You will build constructive and collaborative relationships to contribute to positive outcomes for our clients.


About you:


  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including working within a project management framework, reporting, assessing resource needs and designing and implementing service change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in the monitoring and evaluation of projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence and negotiate with people across all levels, including the ability to positively engage with clients who experience social, cultural, and economic disadvantage.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to plan and lead resource needs working with a project management framework.
  • Lived experience and understanding of the systems we assist our clients with.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital service delivery is highly desirable.
