  • Reporting to the Manager, 1st Line Risk & Compliance, you will be a key member of a growing team, responsible for partnering with business units in the Client & Technology division, to provide them with quality and timely risk and compliance services.


This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your risk and compliance experience in an end to end business partnering role with a focus on operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide 1st Line risk and compliance support on incidents, breaches and issues
  • Facilitate the identification and assessment of risks and controls against business objectives and core processes, including facilitating regular reviews and updates
  • Assist the business to design, implement and operate a control environment that mitigates risks, meets obligations and complies with the requirements of policies
  • Perform testing of key risk and obligation related controls, and other 1st line assurance activities as required
  • Support the implementation of enterprise risk and compliance policy requirements
  • Facilitate and support the proactive assessment and documentation of delivered risks associated with change initiatives, including regulatory change
  • Support the effective management of various risk and compliance forums and committees
  • Proactively embed and improve risk and compliance culture across the Client &Technology division

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • At least 2 years' Risk / Compliance experience, ideally within financial services
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Law or a related discipline
  • Sound knowledge of risk management concepts, frameworks, and standards
  • Understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape
  • Ability to research, interpret and advise on complex risk and compliance requirements and scenarios
  • Strong business engagement skills and ability to influence and build trusted relationships
  • Commercial acumen and growth mindset
