Job Description:


Maintain, service and repair TOMRA's pioneering reverse vending machine (RVM) installations and bulk processing equipment within the Perth Metropolotian area to ensure maximum uptime & customer satisfaction.

This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile comms and other equipment.

A qualified electrician/mechanical fitter with experience in either manufacturing or heavy industrial environments will be a good fit for the role.

Driving between locations is a large part of the role & so a clean driving record & love for being on the road is paramount.

This is a highly autonomous position that would suit someone who enjoys working individually.


What you'll be doing:

  • Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
  • Reporting on service assignments and faults
  • Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
  • Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
  • Analyse areas of potential improvement of products and report to local service team
  • Undertake cleaning of equipment

Qualifications:

To be a successful Field Service Technician you will have:

  • Restricted electrical licence OR a Certificate III level qualification in a trade or higher education qualification that must relate directly to the work carried out.
  • Previous experience interacting face to face with customers
  • Very strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and be able to replace circuit boards, sensors and other electronic components of the RVM
  • Unrestricted driver's license and willing to submit a full driving history record
  • Ability to work across a 7day rotating roster, including weekends
