A Fixed Term (6 months) Full Time opportunity exists for an Adviser, Ministerial Services at the Department of Government Services.

The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make it easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses to interact with government.
We're working to connect and digitise our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the role
The Adviser, Ministerial Services position sits within the Legal, Governance, Integrity and Ministerial Group, supporting the administration of Ministerial Services.
You will have an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your stakeholder management, coordination and relationship building skills and gain a valuable understanding of DGS's position within government and its primary stakeholders and have an opportunity to engage with central agencies as part of this role.

- Stakeholder management**: Forges useful partnerships with people across business areas, making clients and their needs a primary focus for maintaining satisfaction and takes responsibility for correcting problems promptly and without becoming defensive.
- Time management:Puts a high priority on accomplishment and attaining results, distinguishes between the more and less critical activities and operates accordingly, reviewing and adjusting as required.
- Understanding government: Sound knowledge and understanding of Victorian government policies and processes relating to business management and government service delivery e.g. financial, human resource, briefing or correspondence systems.
