    Senior Electrical Project Engineer/Project Manager - ECG Engineering

    ECG Engineering are leaders in the Electrical Engineering field, providing design and project delivery services to various sectors with proven capabilities in Australia and internationally.

    With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila & Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, ECG can handle complex projects from initial studies to completion, benefiting from the expertise of senior ECG staff with decades of experience.

    We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer/Project Manager to join the Power Systems team, overseeing engineering projects in Australia and globally from our Perth location with some travel involved.

    This position requires an individual with 5 to 20 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related fields, who enjoys working on major projects and coordinating project data using tools like MS Project and Excel.

    The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MS Project and knowledge of electrical engineering packages, particularly in power systems, transmission lines, and substations.

    ECG is actively engaged in renewable energy projects, focusing on evaluating renewable options for clients.

    While an electrical engineering background is preferred, other qualifications such as commercial, legal, or construction economics will be considered if supported by MS Project proficiency and relevant work experience.

    The role demands excellent organizational and communication skills due to the fast-paced project environment involving multiple projects worldwide.


    Ideal Key Experience required:

    • Major project experience in office and ideally on-site
    • Construction understanding and processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
    • Experience with engineering drawing processes
    • Knowledge of primary electrical design


    Skills and Attributes required:

    • Degree in Engineering, Business, Legal, or Construction Economics
    • Strong report writing and communication
    • Good knowledge of Excel
    • Experience in Project Forecasting and Planning
    • Proficiency in Microsoft tools
    • Ultra positive work attitude
