This proactive and focused Finance Team is looking for an individual with experience supporting or working within a Finance and Accounting environment.

Excellent opportunity to gain great working exposure working in a change and transformational environment. Busy and varied role, you will play a key part in supporting the team, volunteers and members.

Key responsibilities:

General bookkeeping using Xero
Assisting volunteers with financial administration including assistance with bank requirements and compliance.
Assisting volunteers with insurance claims liaising with assessors.
Assist with responding to and drafting incoming and outgoing communication for internal and external stakeholders.
Providing general support to Finance Manager and Accountant as required.
General filing and administrative tasks.

Key Criteria:

3 years' experience in a finance, banking and/or insurance environment highly regarded
Exceptional customer service skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Sound time management and organisational skills.
Xero accounting skills
Demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously
NFP Industry experience desirable
