Delacombe Corps is a community-focused church partnering with the community to help transform one life at a time with the love of Jesus.
Activities and programs at the Corps include: Sunday Worship Services, Youth programs, Children's and family programs, Mainly Music, Craft, Companion Club, and other community based programs.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Thrift Shop Assistant for our Delacombe Thrift Shop.
This role will assist the Thrift Shop Manager with the operations of the store ensuring quality customer service, diligence in cash handling and banking, quality sorting of donated goods, pricing and maintaining the general appearance and upkeep of the shop.
You will support and supervise (when required) volunteers ensuring a culture of inclusiveness and community spirit amongst the volunteer team, which will in turn enhance the customer experience in the store.
The Thrift Shop is located on Cherry Flat Road, Delacombe.

You will have:
- Relevant Retail experience
- Experience in supervision highly desirable
- Qualifications in retail management highly desirable
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia

This position will require physical ability to safely stand, sit, walk regularly and for long periods of time.
Some responsibilities require the Manager to push, pull, lift, carry and restrain stock, climb ladders, and use computer mouse and eftpos machine.
