The opportunity

Design and oversee implementation of technical solutions in accordance with technical standards and business requirements, while considering supportability, operational concerns, and other Non-Functional Requirements
Provide technical expertise and directions to teams in the configuration, testing, implementation and debugging of new/enhanced systems and other related consultation where required.
Review business requirements & seek clarification from Business Analysts and SMEs where necessary to allow BAs and Tech BAs to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria and tasks in work management tools.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to more inexperienced staff members, helping them continually refine and improve their practices.
Liaise with our technology vendors and escalate issues where necessary to achieve the outcome we need.
Collaborate with Testing team to ensure deliverables are of high quality and minimise the number of defects. Work with your Manager, Technical Services to define roadmap and lifecycle strategies/initiatives to help us ensure our technology remains current and its use contemporary.

About you

We are looking for an individual who has worked in fast moving transformation environment and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.

Strong knowledge of technical concepts of solution architecture, contemporary IT strategies, experience in SQL, Azure Cloud, Data Bricks
Strong customer service and excellent communications/consultative skills to decompose technical concepts for a nontechnical audience
Excellent relationship skills, stakeholder management and engagement skills, across the business at all levels including senior management and executive level

Highly achievable performance incentive
