Seven Maroochydore
currently has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Supervising Producer to join our dynamic and talented News team.

The Assistant Supervising Producer will be primarily responsible for assisting the Supervising Producer in co-ordinating production of our seven News bulletins.

In this role, you will:

Assist the Supervising Producer with production of segments across 7Qld's seven regional newsrooms
Assist in subbing stories, updates and promos for the daily 6pm bulletins
Assist with management of breaking news stories
Ensure stories/content are complete and ready to air
Be willing to work in other regional areas when required

We are looking for an experienced Journalist who has:

Producing experience, excellent editorial skills, and a high level of attention to detail
A deep understanding of media law and ethics
High energy, with the ability to think clearly and act quickly under pressure
Strong organisational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks
Excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to liaise with all levels
An ability to work to tight deadlines
Maturity of judgment and discretion

News experience, and experience in a live television control room environment is highly desirable.
