We have teamed with a leading engineering consultancy firm renowned for their expertise in delivering sustainable solutions in the renewable energy sector.

Recently awarded a significant Wind Farm Project and they are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team.


Position Overview:

Associate Director you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning for major projects in the Renewables Industry.

Your responsibilities will extend to other smaller projects within the energy domain and involvement in tender processes for new projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing commercial and technical advice to clients planning, delivering projects within the Energy Sector
  • Establishing the frameworks and managing the execution of governance, procurement, tendering, assessments, and approvals of major projects within the energy sector
  • Contribute to the tendering process by providing valuable insights and technical expertise.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met while addressing complex challenges.
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and delivery of highquality results

Key Requirements:


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a Tier 1 Engineering Consultancy.
  • Strong background in planning, particularly within the energy sector, preferably in renewable energy projects.
  • Degree in engineering or environmental studies is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a constructionrelated field are required.
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent will be highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in Project Management and Advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex business relationships, negotiate effectively, and resolve contentious issues successfully.
  • Proficiency in managing contracts, understanding and responding to management, operational, and financial information.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to navigate conflicting client requirements and solve complex problems within a changing work environment.
