APPROVALS PORTFOLIO SCHEDULER

Work Location:
Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.


Roster:
Monday to Friday

  • Responsible for development and maintenance of an integrated approvals schedule portfolio that optimises approval planning and management across the business. The position will perform the planning and scheduling of initiatives of the Approvals Integration team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of approvals and effective deployment of company resources across the business.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Integrate schedule data to develop and maintain an approvals portfolio schedule that provides the highlevel strategic direction and program/project/product components in a chronological fashion to enable continual workflow of portfolio activities.
  • Develop architecture, process and practices to manage the Integrated Approvals portfolio.
  • Undertake the identification and recording of the progress of work to baseline milestones in order to identify and mitigate with corrective actions.
  • Coordinate interproject dependencies identification and management including dependencies to shared services teams such as Environment, Heritage and Native Title, Tenements and Acquisitions, Projects and Strategic Planning.
  • Maintain a Dashboard of the Intergrated Approvals milestones to assist with reporting.
  • Consult and provide advice to approvals team members and schedulers to ensure effective planning practices are adopted.
  • Identify and report potential gaps or obstacles that may compromise the success of projects in order to trouble shoot and devise appropriate strategies to overcome barriers.
  • Review and issue schedule information in order to ensure governance over project related scheduling and resource decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Project Management, Data science, Engineering or similar relevant qualifications
