Ventia's nine-year contract with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) provides road maintenance and asset management services to an area of western Sydney covering seven local government areas including the Blue Mountains, plus maintenance of the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) throughout Regional NSW.


What you'll be doing:


  • Assist the Asset Performance Lead in the management and maintenance of the civil road network assets, including slopes, drainage, bridge, and road pavements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of technical management plans, asset management plans, maintenance and service schedules, and performance monitoring frameworks.
  • Conduct condition assessments, identify defects and recommend remedial works to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that works are planned and delivered in accordance with the approved scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Utilise asset management software to manage the civil road network assets, monitor performance, and provide timely and accurate reports to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the review and development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to asset management and maintenance.
  • Support the Asset Performance Lead in identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the asset management and maintenance processes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in asset management or related field.
  • Familiarity with asset management software and tools.
