Our team ensures the right people are in the right place, at the right time, to help develop, deliver and manage complex projects and assets in the energy sector, including wind, solar and transmission projects.

We have partnered with an industry leading company in the Bioenergy space and have multiple opportunities for Mechanical Operators to join the company on full-time positions based in Sydney

The Role:

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining LMS's power stations and all associated plant and equipment on a daily basis as well as monitoring and maintaining their biogas systems and flares.

You will be placed on an on-call roster and regular travel to other sites within the state is required.

Job Duties:

Undertake daily operation, maintenance, troubleshooting of engine(s), flare(s) and associated plant/equipment
Monitor and maintain LMS biogas systems and flares, including biogas field work (i.e. well readings and minor pipeline repairs)
Assist with startup and shutdown of power station/generator module(s)
Complete daily readings, data entry, data analysis, and reports
Schedule servicing and maintenance of engine(s), flare(s) and associated plant/equipment
Complete safety risk assessments, JSEA's and associated paperwork
Perform oil sampling and analysis of results
Maintain cleanliness in work area, including bioenergy facility, and well stations
Attend to callouts promptly when on the roster
Mechanical Fitter/Automotive (Heavy/Light Vehicle) Trade Qualification
(Essential):
Australian/New Zealand Drivers Licence
(Essential):
Fit & Healthy
Current Vaccinations Record
(Essential):
Prior experience working on Caterpillar & or Jaenbecar Engines
(Desirable):
Fit & Healthy
