We are excited to be partnered with a growing e-commerce business that supports the mining, construction & agricultural industry to help them recruit a newly created General Manager position to help the directors take their business to new heights.


This already successful business that has a turnover of 25mil and has 30 full-time employees in their Brisbane office and warehouse is looking for an experienced General Manager who has experience growing and setting up structure within SME's along with strong leadership and management capabilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Directly manage each function of the business including sales, warehousing and administration teams
  • Provide leadership and strategic management to the company
  • Implement operational and strategic changes to grow the business and create structure within the business
  • Oversee the sales and marketing functions of the business with a strategic outlook for new and changing markets
  • Oversee day to day operations of the business
  • Looking at key opportunities for growth and maximising profits
  • Recruitment of new employees

Qualifications and requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a General Manager or similar position
  • Experience in ecommerce would be highly regarded
  • Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
  • Proven experience in change management
  • Experience working with sales & marketing teams/consultants
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and advanced excel user
