We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic Customer Service Officer/Call Centre Operator to support a very busy call centre/customer service centre, to meet the operational needs of a large Waste Management Company in Welshpool,


Primary Roles and Responsibility

  • Provide a superior customer service experience with a positive attitude
  • High level administrative skills
  • Understanding of Operations and/or client care processes
  • Investigate queries, raise credits as appropriate
  • Provide quotes for temporary services
  • Set up customers, sites and services ready for scheduled services, or temporary services
  • Receipt invoice payments
  • Ensure that requests for assistance are directed to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner
  • Maintain a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Investigate to resolution initial customer inquiries and complaints, unless escalation required
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with all employees and external customers
  • Any other duty as reasonably directed

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • Working knowledge of data and administrative practices and procedures
  • Ability to touch type, (as you will be entering and searching data while on the phone to customers)
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Be a proactive team member with a dynamic and committed work ethic
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent Communication skills both Written and Verbal
  • Trouble shooting skills
  • Must have current Driver's license and Reliable vehicle
  • Experience with Salesforce, Oasis and Google drive preferred but not essential
  • SAP experience required
