The Opportunity
The Neuromedicines Discovery Centre (NDC) is focused on research into mental health conditions to bring hope to those for whom current treatments are ineffective.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Research Fellow in Structural Biology for a 12-month fixed-term position.
This role will form a key part of the Molecular and Translational Drug Discovery lab in the Neuromedicines Discovery Centre.
You will perform a range of research activities to support the delivery of outcomes for a major partnership between the Neuromedicines Discovery Centre and a Melbourne-based biotech start-up venture working on next-generation mental health medicines discovery targeting G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
To be successful in this role, you will have a doctoral qualification (and/or similar industry experience) specialising in cryo-EM structural biology or a closely related field.
