Description

The roleThe Principal Advisor is responsible for providing state-wide, complex technical claims and redress advocacy and advisory services to Queensland Health (including Hospital and Health Services, the Department of Health, and Queensland Ambulance Service).

Drawing on your technical expertise, you will identify needs, develop and deliver claims and/or redress focussed education and training to key stakeholders and provide coaching/mentoring to team members in relevant areas such as technical claims and/or redress knowledge, technical problem solving, negotiation techniques, strategic and holistic considerations for claims management.

You wil rely on your demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, analyse, interpret, and evaluate claims and redress information for the guidance of clients, undertake research in relation to technical matters, and present this information and advice in a way that is easily understood and applied by the client.

Therefore, whilst not mandatory, experience in a field which involved exposure to matters of a confronting nature would be well regarded.
