My client is a very successful, well-established and stable boutique, environmental consultancy who provide a range of environmental services including Flora / Fauna / EIA / Approvals to clients across sectors including; Mining & Resources, Local and State Government, Utilities, Infrastructure and Land Development.


They are well-regarded by industry peers and have a very healthy forward pipeline of projects and ongoing repeat business gained from consistently delivering high quality work to their clients.

Due to expansion and to servicing increasing workload, they are currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Environmental professional at Principal / Team Leader / Associate level


The key focus of this role is to help oversee and manage projects and make sure the consultants deliver high quality work to clients on time and budget.

In addition to this the role will assist to mentor and grow the team of as well as develop client relationships and bring in business for the company (although there is not a heavy BD focus as the company has plenty of work to keep them busy)


The role would suit a current Director, Associate, Principal or Senior with the skills, experience and ambition to step up into the role.


  • A Tertiary degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar
  • Around years' experience including previous consultancy experience
  • Previous relevant technical experience in an environmental discipline ideally Ecology / Botany / Zoology, or Approvals / Impact Assessments)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Local experience working on projects in W.A
  • The desire and ability to help with managing, guiding and mentoring more junior staff
  • Good interpersonal skills including a positive, and adaptable attitude and the ability to fit in well with a small, friendly team of professionals.
