Job Summary


As a Regional Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for the support and development of Procurement strategies in Equinix's white space environment for products and services across APAC region.


Responsibilities

  • Support the region and global Procurement Category Managers in the delivery of the category strategy, including sourcing, negotiations, contracts, catalogues, supplier reviews, savings and reporting
  • Partner and coordinate with IBX Operations and Sales Engineering teams to ensure accurate gathering of requirements for sourcing events, technical specifications and operational requirements

Skills:


  • Experience with supplier negotiations, contract writing, sourcing and RFx processes.
  • Ensure compliance to policies, regulations and laws
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrate integrity and reliability
  • Track progress, report and identify gaps, develop and present plans to address
  • Possess the ability to deal effectively with pressure, multiple tasks, deadlines and rapidly changing priorities
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Procurement experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Diploma in CIPS (or above) preferred
