- Assist with implementing the human resource strategy in conjunction with the National HR Manager and/or HR Consultant
- Be the first point of contact for registered volunteers and liaise with National HR Manager and/or HR Consultant
- Liaise with HR, Recruitment team and Volunteer coordinators
- Ensure the FWD brand is adhered to at all times with both internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with introduction of new registered volunteers and assist with onboarding process
- Ensure registered volunteers have access to all FWD platforms and liaise with IT team if and when required
- Ensure volunteers complete all onboarding requirements and complete induction and ongoing training
- Ensure all new volunteer inductions are completed and signed off by appropriate manager
- Coordinate the offboarding process as and when required to departing members
- Assist with general HR tasks as required
- Assist in maintaining and managing HR activities as required. Filing and management of HR policies and processes.

FwD is a volunteer based not-for-profit registered charity that provides practical programs to assist survivors of domestic violence in collaboration with refuge and crisis centres. They work alongside these and other organisations, recognising that the mutual goal is to reduce the instances of domestic violence in Australia.
HR & Recruitment Coordinator - Volunteer Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help our dedicated HR Team. All positions are volunteer based and unpaid.
The Opportunity
The HR & Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for assisting the HR Consultant and National HR Manager to maintain and enhance Friends with Dignity's human resources activities and requirements. This position will contribute to the review, creation, development and delivery of required human resources strategies and support the recruitment function of FWD.
Time required: 20-25 hours per month
Duties Include
FwD appreciate any time you are able to offer. If you are able to commit to regular hours (such as 5 hours per week) we would be delighted to discuss ongoing projects that might interest you. As it takes an amount of time and resource to welcome new volunteers on board, we would appreciate it if you pledged to support us initially for a minimum of 3 months.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join our team who can lead and initiate tasks. We would appreciate any time you are able to offer.
