ABOUT THE ROLE
The Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor role at Amaze is a pivotal role in our Evidence and Impact Team.

The role sits within a cross-functional team, which is essential to ensuring Amaze's success in delivering our strategic plan, focusing on building and strengthening Amaze's approach to social impact in an evidence-informed and structured manner.


Reporting directly to the Head of Evidence and Impact, this dynamic role will support key work to enhance Amaze's culture of being outcomes and impact driven, as well as fostering continuous learning and growth.

The role will have scope in monitoring and evaluation across a range of projects undertaken by Amaze, as well as evaluation of critical business functions.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING


The Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor is a new role at Amaze focused on supporting the Head of Evidence and Impact to deliver against key strategic priorities.


The role will include the following duties:

  • Support Head of Evidence and Impact to develop an organisation wide Outcomes Framework.
  • Build, implement, and undertake monitoring and evaluation processes for Amaze programs.
  • Work with crossorganisational project teams to embed monitoring and evaluation findings.
  • Contribute to policy, advocacy, promotion and information from an evaluation lens.
  • Prepare clear, engaging, and succinct project and evaluation reports for a range of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate reflection and learning with project teams through identifying areas for improvement or review.
  • Ensure project metrics are tracked and deadlines met.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that monitoring and evaluation work is fit for purpose.
  • Provide data to external evaluation consultants and organisations.

We need a special type of person to work with us at Amaze, and our Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor is no exception


We need someone who:

  • Has an ability to work with quantitative and qualitative data including collection, analysis, and presentation.
  • Communicates effectively, listens sensitively, and adapts communication to the needs of the audience.
  • Ability to facilitate building capability of staff to use and interpret data.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise reports, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet and exceed internal and external stakeholder needs whilst cultivating relationships that secure commitment and trust.
  • Actionoriented with the ability to logically plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects/priorities to meet timescales and competing deadlines.
  • Autistic community focused with either knowledge of, or commitment to, developing respectful communications for autistic people and their families and carers.
