About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity to join our crucial support team as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator at Deborah Cheetham Retirement Village
in Ocean Grove This is a part time position working Tuesday and Wednesday in our care center.


We love when our lifestyle coordinators use their creative flair to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents.

This is a diverse role, and no two days are the same You will:


  • Plan, schedule, facilitate and run activities within our village
  • Ensure our activities calendar meets requirements around physical, mental and social activities
  • Curate and develop flyers / communications around monthly events
  • Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
  • Work closely with the broader activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothly
  • Run our resident bingo it sure is a fan favourite
  • Assist in the delivery of various workshops, social and craft activities. Anything from bake offs, fashion shows and even floristry demonstrations
  • Accompany residents on various outings

About You

  • We'd also love you to have experience working in Aged care but that's not essential.
