With a focus on the Trade Contractor & Specifier market, you will get to use your sales and business development skills to identify and develop sales with new and existing clients, working together with a number of key Distributors.

You will help drive sales across our wide range of timber products to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.

You will be supported by our State Sales Manager, and internal sales support team.

Previous experience in the timber flooring products would be an advantage but is not necessary as full product training will be provided, however you will need to enjoy soaking up lots of product information fast.


External Account Manager:
$80k - $100k Base + car + Tools of trade + Yearly Bonus

***Role overview:
  • Provide high level service and support to existing Trade client base
  • Use your sales skills to gain appointments for formal presentations and product demonstrations to existing and potential new clients
  • Use our CRM system to ensure accurate reporting & management of all client information
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to ensure sales targets & KPO's are achieved
  • Assist to resolve customer product issues
  • Maintain performance standards and operational processes to meet customer expectations and business needs
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities through the review of sales processes


To secure this hands-on, challenging opportunity, you will need to have a proven sales background of at least 3 years (not necessarily in timber flooring - but perhaps technical sales, the building industry) and be able to quickly build strong customer relationships and implement strategic growth initiates to develop the business.

  • Ability to make compelling presentations to clients including trades people
- knowledge of timber products is an advantage but is not essential
