Description

Sun Engineering has been awarded the installation of a large scale automated racking system in Moorebank, Sydney, NSW, starting end of January 2023.

We are seeking a Safety Officer to join our team, preference will be given to locals of the Sydney region.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate Safety Leadership
Take reasonable steps to generate a positive and proactive HSE culture
Consult and coordinate with all site personnel regularly to prioritise HSE in all aspects of the project planning and execution
Implement and ensure compliance to the HSEMP and site requirements
Prepare HSE planning materials e.g. SWMS, JSEA's, Permits
Perform or where appropriate facilitate the performance of VOC's
Conduct site inspections regularly both formally recorded workplace inspection and informal observations
Manage all safety registers
Contribute to prestart and toolbox meetings and facilitate HSE meetings
Provide progress information for incorporation into project reports
